2024 has been an incredible year for The Advisory team, filled with milestones and meaningful progress! We kicked off the year with the launch of our two short courses in collaboration with the University of Cape Town, running our first presentations in January and June respectively. We also officially published our Sectional Titles Schemes Legislation paperback book in June, which was another major highlight.
Throughout the year, Auren and Ané conducted engaging online workshops with UCT’s Law@Work Professional Development Project and traveled across the country to partner with managing agencies, helping portfolio managers tackle their most pressing challenges. In addition, Ané designed a tailor-made Sectional Titles Schemes Financial Management Workshop for a group of portfolio managers in Johannesburg, showcasing our commitment to creating personalized learning experiences.
We also introduced two exciting 1-week introductory courses on sectional titles schemes and HOAs. These courses were a hit, and we’re thrilled to continue offering them in 2025. (You can find more details on our website).
Beyond these initiatives, our consulting department stayed busy, supporting clients with advice, rule rewriting, dispute resolution (both internally and through CSOS), and so much more.
As we wrap up the year, we want to thank each and every one of you who has supported us along the way. Your trust and encouragement fuel our passion and make everything we do worthwhile.
Please note that our offices will be closed for the holidays from 12:00 on Friday, 20 December 2024, and will reopen on Monday, 6 January 2025. If you have any urgent matters, don’t hesitate to reach out in the coming weeks so we can assist you before the break.
We wish you a joyous Christmas season and a bright and happy New Year!
