Community scheme POPIA Manual due date approaching

According to the CSOS Practice Directive on the protection of personal information and access to information, unpacked by Auren in his article of the month below, every community scheme is required to develop its own POPIA manual by no later than 11 May 2023.

This manual should outline the processes and procedures that your scheme has implemented to ensure the protection of personal information. The manual should also include details of the roles and responsibilities of those responsible for ensuring compliance with the Act.
