The Advisory | Monthly Newsletter | December 2021

Our final newsletter of 2021.

In many ways, December is a month of contrasts - a time of resting riddled with mad dashes to the shops; a time of recharging, but also entertaining friends and family, and a time of looking back on the year that has passed while simultaneously looking forward to what the new year may bring.

Looking back on 2021, our team is grateful for the support that we have received from our community, like-minded businesses, our clients and students. We have had a wonderfully busy and productive year, which is something we do not take for granted and are truly thankful for.

This year, Auren and Ané assisted more than 500 clients with their community scheme related matters from our Private Consulting platform. With so many struggles faced and battles fought, we are proud of the way in which we were able to help our clients find resolution in disputes and better understand their rights.

While going digital in 2021 posed some unique challenges, it provided the perfect environment for the presentation of the Paddocks UCT online short courses to thrive. We ran each of these courses twice, training over 100 students in total and experiencing an unprecedented pass rate.

We are looking forward to what 2022 holds. Our consulting team are eagerly anticipating the challenges that await them and the learning team cannot wait to hit the ground running with the first semester intake of the Paddocks UCT Sectional Title Scheme Manager online short course commencing mid January.

Our offices will be closing for the Festive Season on 15 December 2021, and we will be back in full swing, ready to assist our students and consulting clients from 5 January 2022.

We wish you and your families a Merry Christmas and hope that you will have a chance to rest, relax and recharge, ready for whatever 2022 may bring.

You can find this month's #AskAuren post on our Facebook and LinkedIn pages, where Auren discusses whether body corporate conduct rules are enforceable before they have been submitted to CSOS. Read his answer at the links below and be sure to like and follow us to receive weekly updates:
