CELEBRATING 1 YEAR OF #ASKAUREN

This month marks a full year since we published our first #AskAuren post. While we haven’t been able to answer every submission that we have received, either due to the amount of submissions in a given month, or due to the question being too complex to answer in a paragraph or two, we really hope that this feature has proven helpful to each one of our followers.

We encourage you to continue to send through your community scheme questions for this campaign, especially when you encounter a situation or question that leaves you scratching your head and thinking, “Surely, there must be a simple explanation for this” - often, there is, and we’d love to be able to help you with it.

Don't forget that answers to #AskAuren questions are limited to those who follow us on our social media platforms - we are active on both Facebook and LinkedIn, so give us a quick follow, and start sending through your questions!

This month’s question is, "If only 1/3 of the members are present at a general meeting and a special
resolution is passed, do the owners who were not able to be present at the meeting have any recourse?
"

Read Auren's answer at the links below and be sure to like and follow us to receive weekly updates on the property industry and our courses:

In other news, we have launched the Early Bird specials for the following two Paddocks UCT short courses:

We also have just over a month before we start our second semester presentation of the Paddocks UCT Scheme Manager - Home Owners' Association online short course, so register as soon as possible to avoid missing out on this opportunity to learn HOA management from the HOA experts!

There are more details and registration links at the “Courses” section of the newsletter, below.

Kind regards,
Auren, Anė, Maria and Tim
