Lodgement of new CSOS disputes via CSOS Connect
Last week CSOS announced that, effective 1 April 2026, all new applications for dispute resolution must be lodged via the CSOS Connect platform (www.csosconnect.org.za).
CSOS has stated that this change will improve service delivery and transparency, as the progress of disputes can now be tracked live via the Connect system, with updates and notifications integrated for user convenience. Further, all supporting documents and correspondence can be securely captured and stored in one place.
It is important to note that disputes that have been submitted to CSOS prior to this change will not be migrated over to the CSOS Connect platform, but will follow the previous, email-based process.
In summary, effective 1 April 2026:
- All new CSOS applications for dispute resolution must be lodged via CSOS Connect
- All existing CSOS applications, lodged prior to 1 April, will follow legacy (email-based) processes
